Wilcox Historical Society Spring Tour of Homes

$20.00Join us March 25th, 2017 for a tour of the areas most loved antebellum homes. This year’s theme is “A Tour of the River’s Bend” as we open up homes in Canton Bend, Possum Bend, Sedan, and Camden. Tour begins at 10:00 but tickets will be sold beginning at 8:00am at Gee’s Bend Ferry Terminal and 9:00am at Black Belt Treasures.
The tour includes the following: DryFork, Liberty Hall, White Columns, Yaupon, and The Beck-Bryant-Talbot Home. We will also have Canton Bend Church, Wilcox Female Institute, and The Dale Masonic Lodge open for the tour. Quilts created by local artists will be available to view at The Wilcox Female Institute as well.
Live portrayal of Alabama’s 39th Governor, Benjamin Meek Miller will be performed at The Miller-Bonner-Law Office.
Lunches will be available for purchase at The Wilcox Female Institute by Blue Spoon Catering, and The Masonic Lodge will also be serving BBQ plates. (lunch sold separate from ticket)
Tickets are available at Black Belt Treasures Cultural Arts Center and the Gee’s Bend Ferry Terminal.
Adults $20 Youth $10
Advanced tickets are available as well as group discounts.
